This is my old work that I created while working on my degree. It tells the story of a girl who travels to the world of vegetables with her brother. Right after I finished my studies, I started working on the design of stationery products for AEMBI Publishing, so I didn't have the opportunity to work on a children's book. However, I really love and want to draw "The Little Prince" by Saint-Exupéry, "Bullerby Children" by Astrid Lindgren, and my own stories.
Text cannot convey everything. Even if it were possible, it would be tedious and still incomplete. The text states the main message, but the stories that may unfold beyond the main idea develop the work in various ways and create a complete picture.
I love when characters appear in illustrations who do not participate in the main events. Their personal traits and background actions bring the imaginary world to life and make the journey into the fairy tale more interesting and impressive.
I particularly love when these characters are repeated and, somewhere in the background, other tales, other quests, and other thoughts are born, just like in real life, beyond us.
